In the show on the same day, the view panel settled into their seats.

“Well, hello, hello. Welcome to the View,” Whoopi said.

“Before we begin, we just wanted to celebrate the talented artists and filmmakers who were nominated for the Oscars this morning.”

Dumping the academy, the 67-year-old said: “Unfortunately my film ‘Till’ wasn’t nominated but we want to congratulate the nominees because a lot of them have been here and it’s wonderful to say ‘Congratulations’.”

Danielle Deadwyler played Mamie and Whoopi had a supporting role.

She played Alma Carthan, Mom’s mother and Emmett’s grandmother.

In addition to acting in the film, Whoopi also co-produced Till.

Keith Beauchamp and Chinonye Chukwu served as co-producers.

Till was one of three films Whoopi starred in in 2022, including Luck and My Father’s Dragon.

OOPS!

The Oscar nominations were announced in a live stream on Twitter Tuesday morning.

M3GAN actress Allison Williams and Rogue One star Riz Ahmed had the honor of presenting them.

They tried to advance the ceremony but failed, laughing at one of the NSFW titles.

Some of the big competitors are Elvis, Avatar: The Way of Water, Everything, Everywhere, All At Once and Top Gun: Maverick.

Riz, 40, and Allison, 34, couldn’t help but announce the nominees for Best Animated Short Film.

The actors held it together until the fourth nominee.

The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse; The Flying Sailor; and ice cream vendors have already been announced.

But the fourth nominee, My Year of D**ks, got the presenters laughing.

The audience usually clapped for each nominee but instead laughed when he said this film.

Allison could be heard giggling, as could the The Rogue One actor, as he paused to read the nominees.

Audiences also erupted when he announced the final film in the category, An Ostrich Told Me the World Is Fake and I Think I Believe It.

The stream returned to the announcers and Allison was still trying not to laugh.

Riz had a grin on her face as the M3GAN actress sighed and said: “Ahhh. No comment.”

The audience laughed again as she moved on to the next category.
