Whoopi Goldberg Demands “Spit It Out!” as View’s Co-Host Refuses to Speak in Hugely Awkward Live Moment

THE View’s Whoopi Goldberg snapped at one of her co-hosts during Monday’s episode after she became frustrated with her behavior.
Fans have expressed shock after presenter Alyssa Farah told Griffin to “spit it out” after the new host refused to speak during a tense moment on the show.
In her role as host of The View, Oops prompted Alyssa to offer her opinion during a key discussion on Monday’s show.
Rather than jump at the opportunity, Alyssa tried to push the show forward as she felt pressed for time.
The view The hosts discussed control after the recent mass shooting in Texas, and after everyone shared their thoughts, there wasn’t much time for that alyssa to get in before the commercial break.
Still, Whoopi ignored the commercial cue music that was playing, prompting her co-host to say whatever she wanted to say.
“Spit it out,” Whoopi told her, but Alyssa seemed torn, only telling the host that it was “too long” to back out at this moment.
Whoopi urged again, “Spit it out!”
“Well, I was just about to say – well, we’ll be back,” Alyssa began before changing her mind.
“No, spit it out,” Whoopi demanded again.

Alyssa looked nervous and told her, “Don’t worry, it’s too long to explain, so.”
Whoopi seemed frustrated when she dropped it, sending the show into a commercial break.
One surprised viewer tweeted: “Alyssa is weird. And what was she trying to say anyway?’
Another summed up the awkward moment, writing: “Whoopi tell Alyssa to spit it out! And Alyssa says it’s too long to explain!”
“Hold that thought,” a third fan told Alyssa.
Just last week it was Whoopi who didn’t want to talk during a certain topic, and she handed it over to Alyssa to take over.
The moderator broke away from the round table discussion as they began reporting on this Bravo reality show Vanderpump Rules.
“Another reminder that we don’t have writers,” Whoopi began introducing the topic, citing the current Writers Guild of America strike.
She added, “…so we’re kind of forced to talk about Vanderpump Rules.”
She then pretended to give her co-host Alyssa something, adding, “…I’m just going to throw [this] over to Alyssa because I don’t care.”
Alyssa happily agreed to direct the segment, stressing to Whoopi that she “got it” from there.
Fans on Twitter have shadowed the show for speaking out about something that’s not in line with what they normally discuss.
“The prospect is really difficult because why are you all talking about Vanderpump rules,” slammed one viewer.


Another co-signed: “The writers strike must end as soon as possible!! You just spent an entire section discussing Vanderpump rules. [eye roll emoji].”
Someone else remarked: “@TheView What is this VanderpumpRules crap doing on our show? Writers strike or not, stop, stop, stop…”
