Whoopi Goldberg breaks her silence as The View fans fear all presenters will abruptly quit the show after spotting a ‘lead’

WHOOPI Goldberg has broken her silence on whether or not The View presenters will go on strike.
Fans feared for the show as it was pretaped on Friday, just a day after the SAG-AFTRA strike.
“Hello and welcome to The View. Listen, we want to start by explaining why we’re still working if there’s a SAG-AFTRA strike,” she began Monday’s episode.
“Like the soap operas, soap operas, game shows and new shows, we operate under a different type of contract called the network code, which means we’re allowed to carry on.”
She continued, “Since we’re not actors at the table and we’re playing The View, it’s a different type of contract.”
“So that’s why we’re still able to work.”
Whoopi said they support the actors and writers who are on strike.
“People are just trying to find a balance.”
The View moderator ended by saying, “That’s why we worked today. We just want it to work for everyone.”
“No one wants to see anyone strike.”
