Whoopi Goldberg shared that she co-wrote a graphic novel titled The Change.

According to Screen Rant: “The story revolves around Isabel Frost, a wife, mother and grandmother who feels life is not what she imagined.

“Even though she has an amazing support network of family members and other players, things are stagnant for Isabel.”

It sounds like there are important themes in the comic, and the description goes on: “But as her body adjusts to menopause, Isabel finds that she is developing powerful abilities.

“With the support of her best friend and her comic-loving grandson, Isabel decides to take a new direction in her life and become the change.”

A first look at the comic cover has been released, and the main character looks a lot like 67-year-old Whoopi’s own appearance.

The bold graphic featured a woman with facial features very similar to the daytime TV host, as well as similar hair.

On the cover, the heroine wore a dramatic black leather outfit and held an orb of blue energy.

HERO WHOOPI?

News of Whoopi’s solo project comes amid ongoing pressure on the star to leave The View.

The show’s executives are reportedly “tired” of Whoopi’s “toxic” behavior and have asked her to leave the show.

Bosses are rumored to be begging the comedian to leave the ABC program after serving as the show’s host for 15 years.

In February 2022, Whoopi was suspended from The View for two weeks because the network ABC called them “false and hurtful comments” about the Jewish people and the Holocaust.

The comedian claimed that the Holocaust – which resulted in the deaths of around 6 million Jewish people between 1941 and 1945 – was not about “race”.

In December, Whoopi apparently repeated her claim about the Holocaust.

‘POISONOUS’

An insider told Radar Online in December that executives are “tired of Whoopi’s constant broadcasts and think it drives viewers away.”

The source added, “Whoopi seems to pick fights all the time. She makes things very toxic.

“It is clear that she is very unhappy. Everyone is begging her to step aside for her sake and for the sake of the show.”

The insider claimed Whoopi was struggling with her physical health due to work stress.

“Her health has suffered and she always seems up for a fight,” they said.

“It’s to the point where the constant struggle is literally killing her.”
