Whoopi Goldberg admits “I forgot what we’re doing” as she yells “View Crew Member” on the live show
WHOOPI Goldberg had a hilarious exchange with a crew member after losing her seat while on the air live.
During a recent episode of The View, the longtime presenter admitted she had forgotten her duties on the show.

In the episode, Whoopi and her co-hosts were joined by American Idol judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan.
Motown legend Lionel entertained the panel with the story behind one of his hit singles, All Night Long (All Night.)
The musician explained that he’s figured out most of the song but hasn’t figured out the ultra-famous hooklines yet.
He shared that he was in Jamaica at the time, going to a friend’s house for Thanksgiving dinner.
He excused himself from the party to return to the studio “all night long,” and his famous song was born.
Lionel then joked that when he wrote the song at his friend Lloyd’s house, some of Lloyd’s friends thought he had been “ripped off”.
Whoopi, 67, and her co-host Sarah Haines, 45, burst out laughing at Lionel’s hilarious re-enactment of the moment.
Joy Behar spoke up and suggested, “Maybe you should send him some money.”
Pop star Katy agreed, adding, “Send him a check!”
“Lionel isn’t vacationing in Jamaica,” Luke added cheekily, causing the table to laugh again.
Shortly after Lionel addressed one of the cameras and said, “Lloyd, I’ll send you a check. I’ll send you a check.” Whoopi’s attention was caught by someone off-screen.
Whoopi was still in the middle of a laugh but said, “Oh, are you trying to get my attention?
“Because I’m so…I forgot what we’re doing. I have no idea!”
Then she turned to the audience: “You know what, we’re coming back. And you know what? They’re staying,” she exclaimed, gesturing toward the American Idol stars.

Late last year, an insider told Radar Online that executives “are tired of Whoopi’s constant on-air episodes and think they drive viewers away.”
The source added, “Whoopi seems to pick fights all the time. She makes things very toxic.
“It is clear that she is very unhappy. Everyone is begging her to step aside for her sake and for the sake of the show.”
The insider claimed Whoopi was struggling with her physical health due to work stress.
“Her health has suffered and she always seems up for a fight,” they said.
“It’s to the point where the constant struggle is literally killing her.”
Whoopi apologized for her recent comments on the Holocaust after renewed backlash, and fans of The View called for her dismissal.
