Cillian Murphy as Thomas Shelby
The series wouldn’t be the same without it Cillian Murphy at the forefront of the star-filled cast.
Cillian began his career as a rock musician before turning to acting.
Since then he has appeared in a number of extremely successful TV shows, theater productions and films such as Dunkirk.
Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby
Paul Anderson is a British actor best known for his role in Peaky Blinders.
He has also starred in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and The Revenant.
Paul began his career as a ticket scalper before enrolling in drama school.
Helen McCrory as Aunt Polly
Helen McCrory Unfortunately died in April 2021 and failed to film the sixth season because of her illness.
Thomas Shelby actor Murphy narrates diversity: “Her presence and the presence of her character is still felt very strongly on the show, and it’s an integral part of Tommy’s journey in the season.”
Creator Steven Knight also revealed that Aunt Polly will have a presence in season six.
Helen is best known for her work in British theater, having appeared regularly in National Theater productions.
She has also had many iconic film and television roles, from a role in Harry Potter to The Crown.
Sophie Rundle as Ada Shelby
Sophie Rundle is a British actress who recently appeared on The Nest, a show about a woman who agrees to be a surrogate mother to a couple.
Often appearing in drama genre shows, Sophie has also appeared in Happy Valley, Bodyguard and Gentleman Jack.
She is also married to another actor, Matt Stokoe.
Natasha O’Keeffe as Lizzie Stark
Natasha O’Keeffe has starred in some iconic TV shows including Lip Service and Misfits.
Her other credits include Filth, Rebellion, and Temple.
She was born in Brighton and grew up in the Tooting area of London.
Harry Kirton as Finn Shelby
Harry Kirton plays Finn Shelby, Thomas’ youngest brother.
Born in Birmingham on July 17, 1998, the young actor is also known for starring in the 2017 film We Can Be Heroes.
He will appear in Gray Matter alongside Stephanie Beacham, Elizabeth Berrington and Sunetra Sarker.
Ned Dennehy as Charlie Strong
Ned Dennehy is back as Uncle Charlie – the non-biological uncle of the Shelby siblings.
Ned has had numerous film roles, including a small role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.
He has also acted in Tyrannosaur, Jane Eyre and Serena.
His TV roles include Dagobert in Dickensian, Father Etienne in Versailles and Dr. Cooper in Good Omens.
The Irish actor also played Lionel Brown in Outlander.
Sam Claflin as Oswald Mosley
Sam Claflin reprises his role as real-life character Oswald Mosley.
In 2022, the actor will direct the TV drama Daisy Jones & The Six.
He is known for playing Finnick Odair in the Hunger Games franchise and starring as Will Traynor in Me Before You.
Benjamin Zephaniah as Jeremiah Jesus
Benjamin Zephaniah is primarily an author and poet.
He said Incredibly busy: “A lot of people don’t know that I’m based on a real character who fought with a battalion from Birmingham in World War I.
“He went back to Jamaica and missed his friends from Birmingham so much that he came back to Birmingham.”
