Bystanders began CPR before emergency services arrived, but Bailey sadly succumbed to her injuries after being rushed to the hospital.

Suspect Mark Lucic, 42, was reportedly arrested shortly thereafter at a gas station a few miles away.

The Canadian allegedly told police he was in town for a work retreat and his GPS kept taking him in the wrong direction.

Fighting back tears, he told fans: “I don’t know how to do this. But I think you should know.

“Everyone loved Bailey and she is no longer with us. She was involved in a hit-and-run accident today.

“Someone just hit her and moved on. She did not make it.”

The emotional post was flooded with condolence comments as social media users were stunned by the news.

Bobby’s brother Adam then shared another clip in which he repeated the news to clarify his sibling’s announcement.

He added: “We think the police caught the guy.

“Right now, Bob is just taking some time and trying to put it all together.”
