She died of natural causes just five days after her 93rd birthday, TMZ reported.
Born on April 10, 1929 in Rye, New York, Sheridan’s first breakthrough on television came with her role as Mrs. Ochmonek, the nosy neighbor, on Alien Life Form.
ALF revolved around Gordon Shumway, an alien from the planet Melmac who follows a ham radio signal to Earth and crash-lands in the garage of the Tanners, a middle-class suburban family living in California’s San Fernando Valley.
After ALF, Sheridan secured her most prominent and enduring role as Jerry’s mother, Helen, on Seinfeld.
