The remains, which have yet to be identified, were found on a property in Loxbeare Drive, Furzton.
But tragically, in the three years since Leah’s disappearance, her family has been heartbroken because her brother took his own life just months after her disappearance.
Who was Leah Croucher’s brother Haydon?
Leah has two half-siblings, Haydon, 24, and Jade, 26.
Haydon was from Milton Keynes and he and Leah shared a father – John Croucher.
The 19-year-old’s siblings were heartbroken after their younger sister’s disappearance.
You’re not alone
A life is lost to suicide in the UK EVERY 90 minutes.
It does not discriminate and touches the lives of people in all sectors of society – from the homeless and unemployed to construction workers and doctors, to reality stars and footballers.
It is the leading cause of death for people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car accidents.
And men are three times more likely to commit suicide than women.
Yet it’s rarely talked about, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage if we don’t all stop now and take notice.
That’s why The Sun launched the You’re Not Alone campaign.
The goal is that we can all do our part to save lives by providing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health.
Let’s all pledge to ask for help when we need it and to listen to others… You are not alone.

Months after her disappearance, however, the Croucher family was struck with new heartbreak when Leah’s older brother, Haydon, tragically took his own life.
What happened to Leah Croucher’s brother Haydon?
The 24-year-old ended his life after being tortured because he didn’t know what happened to his younger sister.
Haydon was found just a day before the nine-month anniversary of his sister’s disappearance.
He was found at his home by his mother, Tracey Furness, in November 2019.
His grieving mother has criticized the state of mental health care in the UK after her son died.
She explained that her son already had a long history of mental health issues before his sister went missing in February 2019.
Furness explained that her son had attempted to seek help for his mental health issues but was told there were no local beds and a home treatment plan was instead put in place.
The 24-year-old was released to his home after being told he could not be accommodated by the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust.
Two days after his release, Haydon ended his life.
“Haydon was not offered a bed, the Mental Health Act was not explored as an option – Haydon could have been sectionalized,” his mother said.
“I am angry. I believe if Haydon had received the proper care and support, Haydon would be here today,” she continued.
Furness is now campaigning for better mental health care in the UK and says she doesn’t want her son to have “died in vain”.
The 24-year-old’s older sister, Jade, posted a tribute to her brother, writing, “Haydon, Me Mum and Dad held your hand until the very last moment but we will hold you in our hearts forever!”
Who are Leah Croucher’s parents?
Leah’s parents, Claire and John Croucher, are from Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
The couple reported their daughter missing after she failed to return home from work on the evening of February 15, 2019.
The heartbroken parents have worked tirelessly to find their daughter since her disappearance in 2019.
They appealed to anyone to come forward with information and Thames Valley Police announced there would be a £10,000 reward for information on Leah’s whereabouts.
On October 12, 2022, police found human remains in an apartment less than a mile from the croucher’s home.
Her parents were informed of the discovery.
