Who Was Bo Hopkins?

Bo Hopkins was born in February 1942 in Greenville, South Carolina.

Early in his career, he often played bandits and villains, such as in The Wild Bunch, the 1969 film that launched his career.

Later, his thick southern intonation and “good old boy” persona led him to roles that were on the more law-abiding side of things, such as a small-town sheriff and several roles as a lawyer, according to his IMDb page.

He has acted in several Hollywood films including Midnight Express and American Graffiti.

What was Bo Hopkins’ cause of death?

He died in a California hospital on Saturday, May 28, 2022.

His 33-year-old wife, Sian, told The Hollywood Reporter that he suffered a heart attack a few weeks earlier, on May 9.
