The main character in Dying Light 2 will be voiced by American Voice actor Jonah Scott, 28 years old.

The seasoned video game and anime narrator has landed the gig for the highly anticipated sequel to the zombie video game.

Scott previously included the Legoshi character NetflixThe Beastars adaptation is alive, but says voicing Aiden Caldwell is his “dream”.

I said NME in his fourth major video game role: “When I finally got into Dying Light 2, things dropped, it was time for me to play this first-person action RPG protagonist.

“It’s my dream, I’m so humbled and honored,” Scott said.

“Aiden can’t wince, because he’s lived in this world for 15 years. This is the way for him.

“He’s been through regrets and he’s good at watching people die. It’s just that he has to say, you know, ‘I’m going to take 20 seconds and I’ve got to move on’.

“Unless he’s very attached to that person, of course, but this is just how the world works.”

The Twitch streamer and Youtuber also revealed that he did his voice acting by performing parkour to give a realistic performance to the gamers.

KentuckyNewborn Scott is known for voicing Bluto in the Pokémon television series and for his role as Randy Orlando in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series.

Is Kyle Crane in Dying Light 2?

Dying Light fans are eager to find out if former protagonist Kyle Crane will appear in the new game.

After surviving the zombie apocalypse, many expect the government’s heroic agent to appear in the sequel.

But Kyle was dropped from the character roster for season two, after developer Techland decided to introduce new opponents unrelated to the original game.

Several characters discuss Kyle Crane, voiced by Roger Craig Smith in 2015, leaving gamers to think for themselves about his true fate.

Jonah Scott explained that he was inspired by Smith’s performance when he was preparing to take on the role of Aiden Caldwell.

“I read a few lines in the same style that you know, Roger would read as Crane,” he explains.

“I had a few readings for some special scripts that were directly inspired by the hilarious pantomime readings that Roger was able to give.”

What is Dying Light 2?

Dying Light 2 is the latest installment of the role-playing survival horror game and was released on February 4, 2022.

The developers say that to fully complete the sequel, 500 hours of gameplay is required.

The player is launched 15 years into the future from the original game, into a European setting known only as “City”.

Protagonist Aiden Caldwell is on a quest to find his sister Mia, after the brothers are separated by a man named Waltz.

His journey to reunite with his sister takes the player through various locations across the City, while exercising his stellar parkour skills.

When night falls, gamers are then immersed in the “infested army” of zombies that Aiden is forced to fight.

Players go head-to-head with the undead, armed with a variety of weapons including UV lights, axes, and the ability to brutally hurl stones from the rooftops of buildings.

By making different decisions, gamers will change the state of the world in the game and the way Aidan is seen by other characters.

The game is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and even Nintendo Switch.
