Who is Tripp, Venus Morris Griffin’s ex-husband?

Not much is known about Tripp other than the fact that he serves a 45 year old prison sentence.

He was convicted of child molestation and is an inmate at Baldwin State Penitentiary in Milledgeville. GeorgiaGeorgia Department of Corrections records show.

Venus met Tripp while studying at the University of South Carolina.

At university, Tripp was president of his fraternity and drove a Corvette and was a USC cheerleader in the late 1980s. the State reports.

“It was intimidating,” Venus wrote. “I had never had so much money before. I worked as a waitress. I think I owned three outfits.”

The motivational speaker recalled, “She said Tripp slept with prostitutes for years. And they were blackmail him. They took all our money.”

“He gave her credit cards and they had exhausted them all.”

“She described this charming man who suddenly turns into someone who is trying to kill you. And that’s when I knew she was telling the truth.”
