As the WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury has an army of fans around the world, but one person who has never seen one of his matches is his own mother, Amber.

Amber Fury is John Fury’s first wife and mother of world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
Unlike her famous family, she stayed completely out of the limelight and there are no photos of her.
Amber has also never seen her son fight and is not interested in his world heavyweight belts, according to Fury. Her only concern is that he is “healthy and happy”.
Fury told that telegraph: “She has never been to any of my fights, amateur or professional, nor has she ever been in the public spotlight.
“My mother doesn’t care if I’m world champion or not as long as I’m healthy and happy.
“You could give my mum this table full of £50 notes and diamonds and it wouldn’t change who she is, ever.”
Fury also revealed in his memoir Behind The Mask that his mother isn’t fully aware of his superstar status.
And she was left confused when so many fans asked for pictures during a shopping spree following his 2018 draw against Deontay Wilder.
Fury famously defeated Wilder in the 2020 rematch before winning again in the 2021 trilogy match.
He wrote, “To be honest, my mother doesn’t quite understand what I’ve achieved as a boxer.”
“After the Wilder fight I took her shopping one time and everywhere I went in Manchester I got stopped for photos and autographs and she couldn’t understand it.”
“She actually said, ‘Hey son, how do you know so many people?’
“I had to explain to her that I’m the world heavyweight champion and a lot of people have been watching me and supporting me. That was really something very special.”
How many children does Amber have?
During her marriage to John Fury, Amber had four children.
Along with Tyson, who was named after boxing legend Mike Tyson, they had two other sons, Shane and Hugh.
Her daughter Ramona tragically passed away a few months after birth.
Following their separation, Amber’s ex-husband, John, married his second wife, Chantal.
Together they had two sons – including Love Island star and boxing champion Tommy Fury.

He is a former professional boxer and bare knuckle fighter, and patriarch of the Fury family.
