Who is Anton Du Beke?
Anton Du Bekee is a British ballroom dancer and television personality, born 20 July 1966.
He is best known for his work as a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing and has been with the show since its inception in 2004.
Before beginning his ballroom career, Anton had humble beginnings as a salesman.
He now lives in Buckinghamshire in a huge country house and has a net worth of £8million.
When was Anton announced as a strict judge?
On June 24, 2021, it was announced that Anton Bruno had replaced Tonioli as one of the judges at Strictly.
He completes the panel alongside Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse.
Anton joined Strictly during the first series and before becoming a judge was the only professional dancer to have danced in every series.
When he announced he was swapping the dance floor for a seat at the jury table, Anton said at the time it was a “dream come true”.
Is Anton Du Beke married?
Anton is married to his wife Hannah Summer.
The couple began dating in 2009 after meeting at a golf club.
At the time, Hannah was the head of the telecommunications company Adaptive Mobile Security Ltd.
In 2016, Anton hinted he was ready to tie the knot with her, saying, “She’s just perfect. I love her more than anything. will we get married Maybe next year. We are very happy.”
But he surprised fans everywhere when he secretly married his longtime love in 2017.
The couple sparked rumors they’d tied the knot after Hannah wore an engagement ring and a wedding band on the first day of the 2017 Chelsea Flower Show
The rep for Strictly Stalwart later confirmed that they had indeed secretly married after the birth of their twins.
When were Anton Du Beke’s twins born?
Hannah and Anton became parents to a boy and girl named George and Henrietta on March 30, 2017.
The couple were expecting the babies on April 4, 2017, but despite arriving nearly a week early, he reassured fans at the time that the twins and the new mom were doing fine.
Anton announced the arrival with a sweet Instagram post, in which he framed a top hat and walking stick framing two pairs of baby dance shoes – one with blue bows and one with pink.

Strictly Come Dancing isn’t the only show Anton has starred in, as the popular star is a familiar face in the box.
