Daughter Charlotte Duff has shared a new documentary about the moment an unidentified man approached her and claimed he knew what really happened to the father of two.

Who is Charlotte Duff?

Charlotte Duff is the youngest daughter of Robert Duff.

He also shared a daughter named Stephanie.

After a decade-long search, Charlotte has now spoken of the moment an unidentified man approached her with information about her missing father.

What did Charlotte Duff say?

Charlotte claimed the stranger told her Robert had been killed after he got into an argument with two men in Archway, north London.

The men allegedly murdered him before dismembering him and placing his remains in a suitcase.

In the new documentary, the devastated daughter said: “I feel like he was telling the truth. He wanted to remain anonymous. I spoke to him and said, ‘Can you call the hotline?’ and he said he’d like to do that.”

Two months later, an unnamed contact of the show’s host, Professor David Wilson, was able to locate the man.

He said: “It took a couple of weeks, I tracked him down last week. He said he was friends with Robert Duff.

“Two men invited [Robert] back to Bredgare Road. One of the men had made sexual advances towards Robert and a fight ensued. Robert was eventually murdered and one of the men dismembered him.

“Apparently he used to be a butcher, he cut him up in an apartment, they transported him in two suitcases.”

The source then went on to claim that Robert’s remains were dumped on a pig farm in Epping Forrest.

The sexual motive has never been suggested before and has not been confirmed by police.

Robert’s eldest child has also spoken out about her father’s disappearance.

Speaking to The Sun recently, Stephanie desperately pleaded with her father’s killers to come forward and bring closure to the family.

She said: “Please have a heart and tell us where our father is.

“We know you killed him. We know he’s dead. Please just tell us what happened so we can finally have peace.

“We have to get him to rest now. It’s been too long It’s been ten years. We didn’t find it or had any real closure.

“His killers know what they did. You have seen me and my family suffer on the news and on television. It’s been ten years now, ten years since we’ve suffered.”

She added: “One thing I want to say to his killers is that they should know that we will never give up.

“You should give up immediately because we won’t stop until we know what happened to dad.”

What happened to Robert Duff?

In January 2013, Robert Duff was reported missing.

The father of two, from Kilburn, north west London, disappeared after failing to attend daughter Stephanie’s 18th birthday party on January 12, 2013.

After he failed to show up, his concerned family contacted police as they said this was “uncharacteristic” of Robert.

They feared that Robert, who had previously struggled with drug addiction, had died of an overdose.

On the same day of his daughter’s birthday party (12 January 2013), the father-of-two was seen withdrawing money from an ATM on Holloway Road, north London.

This was the last time Robert was seen.

Officers took care of his home and forced them to enter, but there was no sign of him.

Police believe he may have been killed that same night after getting into a fight – but his body was never discovered.

His disappearance was treated as a missing person investigation until 2018, when a new witness came forward following a TV appeal.

A murder investigation was officially launched by police and two people were arrested and released as part of the investigation.

Then in 2020, specialized divers searched Highgate No 1 Pond on Hampstead Heath but nothing was found.

After being contacted by The Sun, the Met Police launched a new appeal for information.

Specialist Crime Command Detective Inspector Tom Williams said: “Robert’s family is desperate for answers and we remain committed to finding him.

“While current investigative lines have been exhausted, the case remains unsolved, which means any new information we receive will be processed and thoroughly investigated.

“The search for pond number 1 in Highgate has been carried out for several weeks but unfortunately has not yielded any results.

“Not knowing what happened to a loved one is an ordeal no family should endure.

“I believe someone has information as to Robert’s whereabouts and why he disappeared so suddenly, and I sincerely hope that someone who may have felt unable to come forward in 2013 is now able to let us know what he knows .

“If you have any information, please do the right thing – contact us and help us bring Robert’s family the closure they so desperately need.”
