Who is Pete Davidson’s mother?

Amy Waters Davidson is the mother of Pete and his sister Casey.

She reportedly worked as a school nurse at Brooklyn’s Xaverian High School, but is often seen with her son and even makes a few appearances on SNL.

What happened to Pete Davidson’s father?

Before Pete’s success, his family suffered tragedy after it was announced that his father, Scott Davidson, had passed away.

Known as a firefighter with the New York City Fire Department, Scott died at age 33 while running up the stairs of the Marriott World Trade Center hotel on September 11, just minutes before the second twin tower collapsed.

Pete was seven years old at the time.

Over the years, the SNL comedian has been open and honest about the pain his father’s death had caused him, even revealing that he would pull his hair out to go bald and that he was during his teenage years had suicidal thoughts.

Speaking to Sky News, Pete said: “As someone who’s open about struggles and issues, I think I’m always learning and growing. I’m doing this movie [The King Of Staten Island] has allowed me to continue growing as a person.”

He added, “One of the main reasons I wanted to make this film and tell this story was because I wanted this chapter in my life to be closed.

“Not forgotten, but I wanted to be able to move on and show that it’s okay to have problems and to struggle and that you’re not alone and that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.”

In March 2022, Pete’s mom started trending after it was revealed she was supporting her son to have children with his new girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

At the time, a fan commented on a photo of Kim and Pete kissing, saying: “She will be pregnant with his child by the end of the year. ❤️ @amyymarie118.”
