Who is number one in Stranger Things and where is he from?

stranger things Season 4 Part 1 is finally here after fans have waited almost three years for their questions to be answered. Well, those questions have been (mostly) answered, and so many new questions have been asked in their place.

Eleven’s story takes an unexpected turn in the new season of stranger things, and her origins as a child are explored. We’ve learned little things about Eleven over the first three seasons, but this might just be one of the biggest developments The Duffer Brothers have released so far.

Who is number one in Stranger Things Season 4?

After Eleven is arrested for assaulting her bully, Angela, and then by Dr. Owens is intercepted, she ends up back with Dr. burner in a laboratory. She is placed in an isolation tank called Nina, where she is forced to relive memories from her past, including encounters with a caregiver.

In the memories that Eleven is reliving, she reaches a particularly intense one in which the orderly tries to help her escape from the lab. Part of that, of course, is the orderly asking Eleven to remove the tracker that Brenner placed down his throat. Trusting him, she uses her powers to pull the pill-sized tracker from his neck.

Unfortunately, Eleven finds out that the orderly tricked her. She walks through the lab and realizes that he killed everyone and she sees the same situation in the Rainbow Room. As Eleven realizes, the tracker wasn’t a tracker at all; it was a means of suppressing his powers. He’s number one and he has the 001 tattoo on his wrist to prove it.

As Number One Eleven explains, he was Victor Creel’s son and the one responsible for the murder of his mother and sister. He used his powers to kill her and overusing his powers at such a young age resulted in him passing out on the night of the murders.

After explaining all of this to Eleven, Number One uses her powers to defeat him and this opens a gateway to the Upside Down in the Rainbow Room. Number One is sucked into the Upside Down and burned by a powerful bolt of lightning, transforming him into Vecna.

So there you have it: Number One is the son of both Victor Creel and Vecna. Did you see this twist coming? stranger things Season 4 part 1?
