Who Is NCIS Star Pauley Perrette?

Perrette is a successful actress and singer who was born on March 27, 1969 in New Orleans.

Outside of her NCIS role, she is known for her roles on Almost Famous, Broke, and Time of Your Life.

She has also lent her voice to several productions over the years including Brother Bear, Fantasy Hospital and Scooby-Doo! And Kiss: Rock and Roll Mystery.

When Perrette isn’t working, she often posts about her life on Twitter to over 700,000 followers.

Did Pauley Perrette have a stroke?

Since leaving NCIS in 2018 and retiring from acting in 2020, Perrette has stayed out of the spotlight.

But on Sept. 2, 2022, she took to Twitter to open up about her life, revealing she had a “massive stroke” the year before.

“It’s 9/2. A year ago I had a massive stroke.” she wrote on Twitter.

“Before that I lost so many loved ones family and friends, and daddy and then cousin Wayne

“Yet still a survivor from the traumatic life I’ve been given so far… And still so grateful, still so full of faith and still here!”

Along with the post, she also uploaded a video where she shared more about her story.

“Yes, I’m still here, how many times do I cheat death?” she asked.

Perrette then went on to explain that she “nearly died” from a hair dye allergy and that she also has multiple food allergies.

She is also a domestic violence survivor.

“I’m really grateful, especially for all my rescue dogs,” she continued.

“I’m here, I’m still here, I’m feeling good, I’ve been through a lot in the last two years, things harder than a stroke, but I’m still here and I’m still grateful.”

Is Pauley Perrette Married?

Over the years, Perrette has only walked down the aisle once.

In 2000, she married Canadian-American musician and actor Coyote Shivers.

Four years later, however, the two parted ways and their divorce was finalized in 2006.

After her divorce, she then had two high-profile engagements, one with cinematographer Michael Bosman and one with former British Royal Marine Thomas Arklie.

None of her previous engagements ended in marriage, so in 2019 she announced that she would refrain from marriage and sexual relations in the future.

“I have chosen to remain celibate and single for life. The best decision I’ve ever made. Anyone else? I doubt it. No judgement. It’s just healthy for me,” she said wrote on Twitter back then.
