A convicted fraudster made multiple allegations against former President Barack Obama in his 2009 book, Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder?
Almost 15 years later, Larry Sinclair sat down with Tucker Carlson to discuss the allegations, which he was never able to substantiate.
Who is Larry Sinclair?
Also known by the pseudonyms Larye Vizcarra Avila and Mohammed Gahanan, Sinclair is an author and convicted criminal with a track record spanning decades.
He has been jailed on multiple charges over the years, including fraud and forgery, which reportedly earned him a 16-year sentence Politically.
“It is what it is,” Sinclair’s rep Montgomery Blair Sibley said of his criminal record in 2008.
“He doesn’t hide from it, he doesn’t deny it.”
At this time, more details about Sinclair’s personal life are unclear.
What does Larry Sinclair claim about Barack Obama?
Sinclair’s allegations against Barack Obama date back to 1999 and came to light when the former president was an Illinois senator from 2005 to 2008.
The scammer claimed he smoked crack with Obama and additionally had oral sex with him in Chicago.
To date, Sinclair has provided no evidence to support these claims.
He tried to prove they were true by taking a lie detector test in 2008, but according to Politico, organizers said his results “suggested deception.”
When was Larry Sinclair with Tucker Carlsson?
The world had all but forgotten Sinclair and his claims, but they were brought back to life in 2023 after he gave an interview to former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
Sinclair joined Carlson on his X Show, formerly known as Twitter, to recall the alleged events of that 1999 interaction.
Sinclair said he was introduced to Obama by a limousine driver and they had drinks at an “upscale, quiet” bar he couldn’t name.
“My feeling is that Barack Obama certainly is [bisexual]’ Sinclair said via DailyMail.
“It is characterized by many transaction qualities. I think whatever he’s doing is looking for a catch, looking for a benefit.”
Sinclair went on to say that he had no idea who Obama was when they first met, and it wasn’t until 2004 that he learned his true identity.
“I had no idea he was a representative in the Illinois House of Representatives. All I knew was that he was supposedly married and was having some marital issues at the time.”
Sinclair later claimed he gave Obama $250 to buy cocaine and they got together twice.
“I’ve done a lot of crazy things in my life. I can judge the character pretty well. I didn’t feel like I was going in the wrong direction,” Sinclair continued.
“I wasn’t sure I could trust the person. But I was a little nervous, so caution was abandoned.”
After allegedly meeting the first night, Sinclair claimed Obama showed up in his hotel room the next day with more drugs.
“The next day was kind of interesting because he showed up in my hotel room,” Sinclair told Carlson.
“I didn’t get any warning – I was in my room when there was a knock on the door and he was standing there with more coke.
“…You get out, stop smoking, go,” he added.
At this point, Obama has yet to address Sinclair’s 2023 interview.
