Is Jared Schmeck Responding to Online Backlash?
In the wake of viral moment, Jared Schmeck said he was “not meant to be disrespectful” and was “not a Trumper” but a “free-thinker and a follower of Jesus”.
While he said it was a joke, Schmeck said it was also an expression of his frustration with Presidential Policy, consists of vaccine mission, inflation and supply chain problems.
Schmeck said Oregonian: “At the end of the day, I have nothing against Mr. Biden, but I’m disappointed because I think he can do a better job.”
He continued, “And now I am being attacked for abusing my freedom of speech.
“I understand that ‘Let’s go Brandon’ has a vulgar connotation, but I’m not a simple-minded person like that, no matter how I feel about him,” said the Oregon native.
He went on to say, “He seemed like a friendly guy. No hatred or anything like that. “
“It was merely an innocent joke to demonstrate my God-given right to jokingly express my disappointment.”
Schmeck concluded: “I love him as much as I love any other brother/sister.”
The stunt was the first time Biden was seen reacting to infamous phrase since it was achieved media attention in October 2021.
