Who is in the new Netflix movie?

A new Netflix original thriller movie based on a true story is coming to the streaming service very soon! The good nurse will be released in select theaters starting Wednesday, October 19. It will be released on Netflix a week later on Wednesday October 26th.

The film is directed by Oscar-nominated Tobias Lindholm and written by Oscar-nominated Krysty Wilson-Cairns. FilmNation Entertainment and Protozoa Pictures produced the film. The production is based on the novel of the same name by author Charles Graeber.

So what can we expect in the upcoming project? Amy, a compassionate nurse and single mother struggling with a life-threatening heart condition, is pushed to her physical and emotional limits by the tough and tiring night shifts in the ICU. But help comes when Charlie, a thoughtful and caring fellow nurse, joins her unit.

As they spend late nights in the hospital, the two develop a strong and devoted friendship, and for the first time in years, Amy has real confidence in her future and that of her young daughters. But after a series of mysterious patient deaths sparks an investigation that points to Charlie as the prime suspect, Amy is forced to risk her life and the safety of her children to uncover the truth.
