David Shamblin is a relatively unknown figure, best known as the late Gwen Shamblin’s first husband.

Together he and Gwen started the “Weigh Down Workshop” for the remnant Christians.

David served as the association’s CEO.

David released his ex-wife’s obituary as Gwen and her husband Joe were “presumed dead” after their plane struck Percy Priest Lake in Smyrna, Tennessee.

Six others on board were killed when the small Cessna jet crashed en route from Smyrna Rutherford County Airport to Palm Beach International Airport.
