Who is Greyson Perry’s wife Philippa?

Philippa Perry is a psychotherapist and author.

Born in Warrington, Lancashire, she earned a degree in Fine Arts from Middlesex Polytechnic.

As an author, she has published books including Couch Fiction; a vivid story about psychotherapy, how to stay healthy, the book you wish your parents would have read and your children will be glad you did.

She has also written for several publications, including Psychology Magazine, and has served as Red Magazine’s agony aunt since 2013.

On television she has presented several documentaries including Being BiPolar on Channel 4, The Agony Aunt Story on BBC Four and The Great British Sex Survey on Channel 4.

Grayson is known for his contemporary art and as a crossdresser.

When asked by the Radio Times what she thought of being Grayson’s wife, she replied: “When we got married, we were equals.

“Then he got famous, so now everyone comes up to him and says, ‘I’d like to talk to you about this play, blah blah blah’… I call it the plus one syndrome.”

However, Philippa told the publication she sees her husband’s fame as a positive.

“Actually, being with Grayson has been quite helpful because I see us as equals and think, ‘If he can do it, maybe I can do it.’ So this is helpful.

“And of course he says, ‘You can do it, you’re smarter than me, do it,’ that’s helpful too.”

Do you have children?

The couple have one daughter named Flo, who is an illustrator and author.

Flo came out as a lesbian at the age of 14 and recently let the public know that she is also bisexual.

She has worked as an editor at BuzzFeed and has written How to Have Feminist Sex: A Fairly Graphic Guide.
