Who is Dan Biggar’s wife Alex?
Alex Biggar (formerly Cummings) and Dan have been together since high school.
She currently runs a successful cake business – Biggar Bakes – and was previously an elementary school teacher.
The couple finally married in 2016.
Ahead of the 2021 Lions Tour, Biggar said his wife had always been his biggest fan and stuffed his bag with letters to motivate him ahead of the trip to South Africa.
Biggar wrote for the Mail on the Sunday before his departure: “My wife will be the first person I call when I join the team.
“When I left home for camp in Jersey, she put a couple of envelopes in my bag.
“They were all labeled with different labels like ‘If the selection isn’t going well, open that’, ‘If you’re homesick, open that’, ‘If training didn’t go well, open that'”.

He added to Wales Online: “I think family life has certainly given rugby a different perspective. I’m still massively disappointed when we lose or when we don’t play well.
“When I’m in practice and game mode on a Saturday afternoon, there’s still nothing more important than wanting to win every moment, do your best and be successful.
“But now when I walk in the door after practice or a game I can switch off completely instead of worrying and watching the game again.
“I just enjoyed coming home and switching off and focusing on my family because I don’t spend much time with them.
“That’s the key for me, especially in the last few years.
“Alex was brilliant.
“As with all rugby boys, the partners and parents do a hell of a lot more than we do. They can sometimes be overlooked.”
Does Dan Biggar have children?
Yes. Dan Biggar has a son named James. And he said he’s helping take the pressure off him to go for internationals.
Biggar commented ahead of the Lions Tour: “It’s oddly reassuring to know that when I get on the Test team my son might not be able to give a monkey.
“All he wants to know is that I’m taking him swimming when I come home next month.”
He added that he will be speaking more to James about his rugby career when he is older, commenting: “I’ll keep all the bad press and there’s a lot of it!”

“I’ll get him to go through all of this, which will be good entertainment for him. If he listens to some people, his father must have been quite rubbish!
“It was quite difficult with Covid because matches, especially international ones, used to be a real family outing for a lot of people.
“As he’s getting a bit older and more aware, it was sad that we couldn’t do that anymore.
“We played Wasps with Northampton a few weeks ago and he came on with my wife Alex.
“That will have been the first game he has attended since it all started with Covid.

“I guess when I’m done or he’s old enough to realize it’ll be pretty nice to show him what I’ve accomplished.
“I really want him to be fairly independent and I don’t want to force rugby on him. I want him to be able to choose what he wants to do.”
