But who is the self-proclaimed “goddess” and what crime is she said to have committed?

Who is Chris Chan?

Chris Chan, 41, full name Christine Weston Chandler – is a vlogger and artist from the US state of Virginia.

She is best known for her webcomic series Sonichu, in which she portrays a character who is a hybrid of Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog.

The website describes Chan as “the infamous creator of the Sonichu comic series and internet trolling target”.

However, Chan writes on Twitter in her bio: “I am Mrs. Christine W. Chandler Sonichu, Goddess of the Nations of Cwcville, Comma, and the Commodore Consoles, and the Creator of Sonichu and Rosechu. She/Her.”

Chan explained, “I am a woman; please address me with the correct pronouns and talk about me. you/your/your. Thanks.”

On Tumblr, Chan adds that she is the “creator of Sonichu, Rosechu, and the town of Cwcville, VA as drawn in my comic book series.

“And I’m a proud trans lesbian … I’m still a work in progress.”

Chan has written that she “is also known as Christian, Christopher, Chris Chan, etc. since 2000 in my fanbase and many trolls and cyberbullyers on the internet”.

According to her Facebook page, Chan studied computer-aided drawing and design at Piedmont Virginia Community College.

She has about 60,000 followers on Twitter.

Biography Daily says Chan didn’t speak until he was seven and was diagnosed with high-functioning autism as a child.

What is the Sonichu web series?

Chan’s comic Sonichu web series features a crossover of Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokemon – Sonichu – and “disturbing imagery,” writes Sega Nerd.

Rosechu is Sonichu’s treasure.

The artist began uploading her comic series in 2000.

Know Your Meme says, “The comic, which follows the adventures of the titular protagonist, an amalgamation of the Pokémon character Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog, has been widely derided online for its amateur art style and writing.

What is Chris Chan Net Worth?

The comic book creator’s net worth is unknown.

But Chan has written of her financial situation: “I have drawn and colored more than eleven books of stories, content and so forth, as well as my own official Sonichu and Rosechu characters and merchandise.

“I still live with my mother and our dogs and cats and we have a lot of financial problems, alongside a number of victims of internet trolls, blackmail and deceit and whatnot, which have long scarred me emotionally and mentally.

“My creativity has been hampered and the only resolve I feel is to have less worries over my head.

“And the home finances are a start I’d like to resolve, including the mortgage and the debt.”

What did Chris Chan do?

Chan was arrested on August 1, 2021 for the incest crime.

However, new screenshots are making the rounds on social media.

The snaps are said to be official court filings — as well as emails reportedly sourced from Virginia’s Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE) service — showing Chan was released on bail.

It’s not her first encounter with the law, either — because in October 2011, Chandler and her mother were arrested after Barbara hit a local toy store with her car — resulting in them paying a fine, doing community service and a year’s probation had to complete.

And an Albemarle General District Court file seen by The Sun shows Chan was charged with a Class 1 misdemeanor in December 2014.

That was a lesser charge after she was originally booked for a Class 6 offense of “unlawful release of hazardous gases” after hitting a GameStop employee who asked her to leave.

According to court documents, Chan was sentenced to a 180-day suspended sentence and ordered to pay $514 in court costs.
