Who is Catherine Ommanney?

Catherine Ommanney, 51, is a British reality TV star and interior designer from London, England.

She is best known for her starring role in the US Bravo reality series The Real Housewives of DC

Catherine rose to fame on the show in 2010 after moving to the States in 2008 to marry her second husband, Charles Ommaney.

Although their on-screen relationship seemed to work, the couple eventually separated in 2010 and later divorced.

Catherine has two children from a previous marriage.

The estranged first spoke exclusively to The Sun about her month-long affair with Prince Harry – when he was just 21 and she was a 34-year-old mother of two.

What did Catherine Ommanney say about Prince Harry?

Catherine has opened up about the time she spent with Prince Harry after learning the prince was writing about his ex-girlfriends in his new memoir – Spare.

However, the mother-of-two isn’t expecting to appear in his highly anticipated upcoming book.

Speaking of her past affair, Catherine said she had the “time of my life” with the prince in 2006, who gave her the “most passionate kiss I’ve ever had” after meeting them at the trendy Art Bar in London.

She also told The Sun on Sunday that the couple acted like teenagers, kissing passionately on dates – even posing for a picture together in a bathtub.

The TV personality even affectionately called him “Baby” for his habit of sucking on lollipops.

Catherine claims that at the time of their brief romance, Harry was in a long-term on-off relationship with socialite Chelsy Davy and she was split from her ex-husband Stephen.

She’s not sure if Harry took a break from Chelsy during the time they spent together.

She told The Sun on Sunday: “I doubt I’ll be in Harry’s book as a prince can’t walk away with a 34-year-old mother of two, it just isn’t the right thing.”

Of the time they met, she added, “We had some mutual friends in the real estate industry and he introduced himself.

“Harry was wearing an Aussie-style hat that made me laugh, so I asked him, ‘What are you looking like?’

“I don’t think he was used to people taking the Mickey, and once we started talking it was like there was no one else in the room.”

From Mallorca, where she now lives, Catherine continued: “He was only 21 so a relationship was the furthest thing from me.

“But as everyone drove off around 11pm, Harry pointed to one of the three Range Rovers parked outside and said ‘get in with me,’ which I found very flattering.

“We were driven to the Eclipse nightclub in South Kensington and taken downstairs to the VIP area.

“A few moments later the manager came over and asked, ‘What’s your favorite song?’ Harry said, “Gnarls Barkley, crazy.”

“It came a second later and I said, ‘You’re so spoiled.’ Harry just laughed.

“I started talking to someone and Harry took the cloth from the champagne bucket and pulled it over my head. I was a bit upset because it was freezing. I told him, ‘Stop being so needy, that’s not the way to behave.’

“One of his guards came up to him and told him, ‘Pull yourself together, you can’t behave like that.’

“I’ve seen him say that a couple of times.

“We went to another club but after half an hour I said to Harry, ‘I’m starving, can you make a good bacon sandwich?’

“He said, ‘I make an excellent bacon sandwich’ and we went back to his friend’s in Chelsea.

“Harry and I shared a cigarette on the steps outside and he really opened up to me.”

During their conversation, Catherine claims the prince opened up to her about his relationship with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and “how close they were”.

She added: “We went upstairs to the bathroom and started fooling around like teenagers and singing into toothbrushes like they were microphones. We got fully dressed in the bath and one of our friends took a picture on my phone.

“Harry and I went into the kitchen and he made a great bacon sandwich. We sat in the kitchen for ages talking and we both had the giggles.

“We started fighting and I think we wrestled back and forth for about 15 minutes when I told him I had to go home.

“Then he picked me up off the floor by my waist and pushed me against the wall. He gave me the most incredible, passionate kiss I’ve ever had in my life. I was absolutely speechless.”

After their encounter, Catherine said Harry had insisted on taking her back to the home she shared with daughters Ruby and Jade, then aged six and eight, in London’s Battersea.

She said: “We kept texting and I saw him again about a week later in a bar in Kensington.

“We had another kiss and Harry was very flattering and told me how beautiful I was. We met a few more times, always in private bars.”

But their fling broke off after two more dates and Prince Harry changed his number.

The pair only met again in 2009 when they met at a polo match in Barbados.

At that time, Catherine was married to her second husband.

She said: “Harry pushed past his bodyguards to kiss and hug me and we had a great chat. In hindsight, it’s a shame we couldn’t remain friends.

“I had the time of my life when I was with Harry when we got each other’s sense of humor.

“Without being arrogant, I think we both really liked each other even though he was way too young for me. If he weren’t a royal and maybe ten years older, he would be my perfect man.

“If Harry walked through the door right now he would probably give me a high five and I’m sure we’ll meet again because the world is a small place.

“I hope he’s happy and has finally found some freedom because that’s something he was desperately looking for at the time.

“I hope Meghan takes care of him and I wish him nothing but happiness and success as he is a very brave, charismatic, incredibly funny, intelligent and lovely person.”
