Led by their alumni, Barbara Zaun, the 32 members of the Philadelphia Eagles’ mixed cheerleading team are:

The roster debuted in 1948, 15 years after the Eagles were formed on July 8, 1933.
When the Eagles’ cheerleading team was formed, they passed the Eaglettes.


They changed their name to Liberty Belles in the 1970s.
Sometime in the 1980s, the roster was shuffled and renamed the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders.
The organization publishes its own annual calendar featuring the Eagles Cheerleaders.
The calendar is available every year via Apple and Android.
How old do you have to be to be a cheerleader for the Eagles?
To be considered for the Eagles Cheerleaders, applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants must also have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
For those wishing to audition, the other requirements include:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- A passion for helping others and doing community outreach activities
- The ability to master dance choreography at a professional level
- Excellent teamwork skills, friendliness, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- The ability to successfully perform dance acts
- Must be working professionals and/or students pursuing higher education
- A flexible schedule for performances, dance rehearsals, and other important team activities on weekends, holidays, and evenings
Every year in April the organization holds auditions for new members.

“We’re looking for talented performers who have the skills, showmanship and enthusiasm to engage with fans and also the community at events like junior cheerleading clinics and autism fundraisers,” Zaun told the Courier Post.
“Being on the NFL stage is a great honor and the pinnacle of a cheerleading career.”
