Who is Joey Graziadei?

Joey Graziadei is a reality TV star who was born on May 24, 1995.

On August 21, 2023, he was confirmed as Season 28’s Bachelor, succeeding fan-favorite Zach Shallcross, who chose Kaity Biggar at the end of Season 27.

Before joining The Bachelor, Joey competed on The Bachelorette’s Charity Lawson season.

When it comes to love, he’s looking for someone who can be authentic.

Joey is the son of Cathy Pagliaro and Nick Graziadei.

During his time on The Bachelorette, he spoke briefly about his parents. He also opened up about his family life on an episode of the Bachelor Happy House podcast, revealing that he is a child of divorce.

“My parents separated when I was quite young. I wouldn’t say it was easy. But my family is just an extremely loving family,” he said via Today.com.

“And both of my parents were great co-parents, so the fact that that didn’t work out doesn’t stop the romance for me.”

Speaking to Charity, he explained that his parents split up after his father came out as gay.

“It’s something that touched me, but it’s really his life,” he explained during his podcast appearance.

“I had this conversation with him and he felt comfortable and trusted me how I would talk about it and it would be passed on in the right light.”

Although Joey may have opened up about his family to Charity, some fans were disappointed that his father and husband weren’t featured in the hometown episode, Today.com notes.

What does Joey Graziadei do for a living?

Joey has made his name as a television personality in recent years, but is also known beyond that for his career as a professional tennis player.

While studying at West Chester, he competed on the school’s tennis team and then moved to Hawaii to become the head tennis pro at Makai.

In addition to competing, he also teaches and often spends his days “on the court and in the evenings on the beach watching the sunset with friends.”
