Brazil suffered a late defeat against Cameroon but are also in the round of 16.

Which teams qualified for the round of 16?

Group A

Netherlands secured a place in the last 16 with a 2-0 win over hosts Qatar, leaving Louis Van Gaal’s side topping the group.

Senegal also confirmed their place in the knockout stages after defeating Ecuador.

Both sides meet their opponents TONIGHT in the Group B final, with Senegal meeting the winner and the Netherlands meeting the runners-up.

Group B

England qualified for the round of 16 and defeated Wales 3-0 to send their compatriots home.

United States of America join the Three Lions in the knockout stages and beat Iran 1-0 to set up a clash with the Netherlands.

Group C

Argentina finished Group C on top despite losing the first game of the group stage.

Victories over Mexico and Poland propelled them into the round of 16, while they are joined by Europe.

Poland razor-thin ahead of Mexico and had a better goal difference than the Central Americans.

Group D

France had already qualified before the game against Tunisia – and then the reigning world champions LOST.

Needless to say, Les Bleus still finished as group winners on goal difference.

They are connected in the last 16 of Australiawho pulled off another 1-0 victory by beating a disappointing Denmark.

Group E

Japan shocked the world by topping Group E, winning against both Germany and Germany Spain.

The surprise twist in what was considered a group of death saw Germany eliminated from the competition, although they finished level on points with Spain, who finished in second place.

Group F

Morocco surprised everyone by topping the group and securing their place in the last 16 with a 2-1 win over Canada.

That meant that Croatia and Belgium had it all, but a 0-0 draw saw the Red Devils eliminated in the group stage.

Brazil are through after winning both games and picking up six points.

Switzerland joined the South Americans in the next round after beating Serbia on the final day of Group G.

Group H

Ghana, South Koreaand Uruguay still had a chance of reaching the round of 16 but it was the Asian side who progressed after a 2-1 win over Portugal on the last day of the group.
