Bridgerton’s highly anticipated season two is finally upon us.
The show, set in 19th-century London, quickly attracted more than 82 million households in season one. Take a look at the filming locations that have been introduced in the new series.
Where was Bridgerton filmed?
Although Bridgerton is set in London, not all shows are filmed here.
Other locations have helped create a Victorian feel to the settings.
Bridgerton House was filmed at the British Heritage, Ranger’s House, Chesterfield Walk facilities in Greenwich.
This place was once inhabited by nobles and even royalty.
Syon House has been used for some of Simon’s home interiors, such as his study and dressing room.
The Queen’s house in Greenwich was also used for some scenes of Mayfair.
The Reform Club, Lancaster House and Hampton Court Palace were also filming locations.
Chatham Dockyard was used for the garden of the House, along with filming London’s poorer streets and boxing pubs.
The Wilton House in Salisbury was the site used for some of the Duke Hasting’s homes, such as the dining room.
You may have seen it before when it was filmed for The Crown, Emma and Pride and Prejudice.
It is also used as an alternative to Hyde Park.
Simon’s House was also filmed in other locations.
His living room and morning rooms were filmed at the Badminton House in Gloucestershire.
Surrey and Yorkshire
Painshill Park in Cobham, Surry was used as a scene where the Feathering family went for walks and fenced off.
The garden is famous for its arch bridge and beautiful lake.
Howard Castle in York was used for its interior and exterior when creating Simon’s house.
The village on Duke’s land was filmed at Coneysthorpe Village using a Grade II rated property.
Meanwhile, Castle Howard is used for some ballrooms.
Bath was another key location for filming.
The streets of the town were used to create the London Regency.
Bath Street, Alfred Street and Beauford Square were used to create Mayfair.
Trim Street is used as the exterior for Gunters Tea Shop while Abbey Road is used as the exterior for Modiste’s dress shop.
The striking Royal Crescent was filmed at Grosvenor Square.
The Bath Building was used for the Rambury Ballroom.
Lady Danbury’s House was filmed at the Holburne Museum of Art.
Leigh Court is most used for dance scenes, as it is the location of the Prince’s Ballroom, Ingenue Ballroom and Crawford Ballroom.
Somerley House was used for an exhibition of paintings at Somerset House and to create Hampstead Heath.
The Hatfield House, which was used in The Favorite, was filmed.
North Mymms Park is used for the nanny in Simon’s house.

When does Bridgerton season 2 start on Netflix?
Season two of Bridgerton will be released on Netflix on Friday, March 25, 2022.
Filming for the new series began in the spring of 2021 and completed production in November.
Showrunner Chris Van Dusen tweeted in November: “It’s an end of season 2! So proud of the cast and crew who put their A-game into action every day of the challenging year. this.”
