The film follows Joe Sandoval (John Ortiz), the patriarch of a family whose wealth and power stem from the success of their Sonoma Valley winery. It’s time for Joe to determine the future direction of the company his children are growing.

They both have personal stakes in the vineyard and family business, however, Joe also has to contend with Margaret Honeycroft (Bellamy Young), his ex-wife and mother of three. She intends to take the vineyards from him as they once belonged to her father even though it was Joe who created an empire out of them.

However, something in Joe’s past is about to take a turn, which could spell trouble for not only him but also his family and the business he’s spent decades building. .

Where to watch The Promised Land

Promised land Premieres Monday, January 24 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. The series is available to stream the next day on Hulu. Viewers will be able to stream the premiere, “A Place Called Heritage,” and the show’s second episode, “La Madrugada,” on Tuesday, January 25. The second episode will premiere on Monday, January 31st. .
