BREAKFAST TV icon Susanna Reid is a familiar face to many people’s morning routine.

Good Morning Britain fans will note that today (25 April 2022) Susanna Reid, 51, is not in the studio but is instead in Poland.

Where’s Susanna Reid this morning?

Susanna is not at her usual desk in the studio this morning (April 25, 2022) after announcing on her Twitter account that she will be presenting from the Ukrainian-Polish border.

Susanna opened the show with the words: “Good morning Great Britain, we are live from the Polish border with Ukraine at Medyka, the busiest crossing for war refugees.

“I have heard the harrowing stories of some of the five million people – mostly women and children – who have fled their homes in search of safety.”

Co-host Richard Madeley is alone in the studio with Susanna interviewing a young Ukrainian refugee named Amelia Anisovych, who made headlines after singing “Let It Go” from a bunker in Ukraine.

On Sunday April 24th, Susanna tweeted: “MORNING: I’m @gmb in Poland with a special interview with Amelia and her mother Lilia.

“The seven-year-old who sang Let it Go in the Kiev air raid shelter has become a symbol of her nation.

“And I will be covering #GMB live from the Polish-Ukrainian border on Monday at 6am.”

Young Amelia’s version of Let it Go caught the attention of celebrities around the world, including Idina Menzel, who played Elsa in Frozen.

As she began her reports, Susanna said that air raid sirens sounded in Lviv, where her translator’s family lived.

When will Susanna be back at GMB?

Susanna will be back in the studio fronting Good Morning Britain very soon.

Once safely returned from her trip to Poland, Susanna will return to the breakfast screens.

The program airs on ITV every Monday to Friday from 6am to 9am.

Piers Morgan presented the show from 2015 until March 2021 until his departure, after which Richard Madeley joined the team.
