Effective December 5, 2022, Robin Meade will no longer appear on HLN.

While she announced her departure from HLN live on the show, multiple outlets began discussing the news as early as December 1, 2022.

The Morning Express featuring Robin Meade’s Twitter page shared a clip from the episode in which Meade discusses the news.

On December 1, 2022, The Wall Street Journal reported that HLN will no longer produce live programming.

According to the publication, CNN CEO Chris Licht wrote in a memo to employees: “I want to take a moment to thank Robin Meade. Not only is she an immensely popular presenter, but she is also one of the longest-running morning presenters in history.”

He continued, “I know HLN audiences will miss her and the other HLN talent.”

As of December 5, 2022, Meade’s next career move is unknown.

However, it is likely that she will spend quality time with family, including her husband Tim Yeager, and with her parents and siblings.

On October 30, 2022, Meade took to Instagram to share photos with her family.

She captioned the post: “How come I’m early to the airport twice in a row? Unfamiliar feeling. lol I’ll be back on the air tomorrow after a quick trip home to Ohio to visit family.”

She continued, “Say hello to some Meades: Mom and Pops and 2/3 of the ‘Originals’ (as Mom calls us), sister Tonda and brother Kevin. See you early #halloweenmorning! @morningexp.”

She’ll also likely be spending time with her dog, Tessa Red.

She also posted photos with her canine companion on her Instagram.

As CNN Business reported on Dec. 1, 2022, the network is getting rid of live programming on HLN, which was announced via Licht’s memo.

According to the publication, the memo said in part, “The changes we’re making today are necessary and will make us stronger and better positioned to place big bets without fear of failure.”

What else has Robin Meade achieved during her career?

Meade has had a successful career.

In addition to being with HLN since 2001, Meade is also a former Miss Ohio.

According to her blog titled “Mornin’ Sunshine,” she won the title in 1992.

Then, in 1993, she was a semifinalist at the Miss America Scholarship Pageant.

In 1995, Meade won a regional Emmy Award.

As the television academy’s website notes, that was because she was “covering a fatal school bus collision in Illinois” while employed by an NBC affiliate.

Meade is also involved in the music industry and has released two albums including Brand New Day (Deluxe Edition) in 2011 and Count On Me in 2013.
