When will Euro 2024 take place and where will it take place?

Euro 2024 takes place in Germany.

The tournament begins on June 14, 2024 and runs through to the finals on July 14.

The final will take place in Berlin.

What happens in qualifying?

England battles Italy at Euro 2020 to qualify for Euro 2024.

The Three Lions, who were in Pot 2 after being relegated to the Nations League, had to compete in Group C.

They take on Roberto Mancini’s Azzurri as their toughest opponents in a repeat of last year’s final, which England lost on penalties.

England also meets Ukraine, arguably the strongest team from Pot 3.

And their group was completed by Malta and North Macedonia, who famously ended Italy’s bid to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar.

Gareth Southgate’s side know they can secure their spot at 24-team Euro 2024 if they finish in the top two of their group.

Elsewhere, Scotland have been placed in Group A with Spain, Georgia and Cyprus but will surely have to face Erling Haaland’s Norway to qualify.
