When skating on ice Kye Whyte is ‘thrilled’ after slipping on ice

DANCING On Ice’s Kye Whyte is ‘nervous’ after a slip on the ice – but he promises to switch to ‘BMX mode’ to win the show.
Olympic BMX silver medalist, 22 years old, survived last week’s skating after impressing the judges with his moves.
Rachel Stevens was sent home last week after losing to Kye in ice skating.
Now the sports hero, dubbed the Prince of Peckham, is determined to do all he can to avoid skating this week after nearly falling during last Sunday’s show.
A source told The Sun: “Being in second place is a wake-up call.
“Kye felt nervous for the first time after that slip. He’s now gone into full BMX mode this weekend, you’ll see more of the Olympic champion.
“He wants to win and is working hard.
“Last weekend, he gave tickets to Tippy’s parents, who had flown in from the US.
He continued: “They really wanted to see their daughter perform so Kye allocated her tickets to them.”
Meanwhile Kye has returned to filming after being forced out of the competition due to a knee injury, The Sun can reveal.
He was dropped from the live show two weeks ago after he suffered a nasty injury during practice.
A source told The Sun: “Kye is back on the ice again.
“He has also returned to his bike.
“He’s so excited to be right back in training today, they don’t want to waste a minute.”
