When is the 2021/22 EFL Playoffs? League One final date, Championship and League Two semi-finals confirmed

THE EFL has reached its ending as teams seek to secure those promotion spots.
And like every year, four teams in each of the three divisions – Championship, League One and League Two – compete in the play-offs, with only one making it through to the Wembley final.

Brentford were last season’s Championship play-off winners after a comfortable 2-0 win over Swansea at Wembley.
When are the EFL play-off finals?
The dates for each of the EFL play-off finals have been confirmed and will take place over two weeks.
The League One Final will be played a week before the League Two and Championship Finals due to Wembley being unavailable on Bank Holiday Monday 30 May.
The reason for this is the Uefa-Conmebol Finalissima, in which European champions Italy will play against Copa America winners Argentina on Wednesday, June 1, in the national stadium.

The dates for the EFL play-off semi-finals are as follows:

- Mansfield 2-1 Northampton
- Northampton – Mansfield (7.45pm) – Wednesday 18 May
- Swindon 2-1 Port Vale
- Port Vale – Swindon (7.45pm) – Thursday 19 May
Do the EFL playoffs have away goals?
The EFL playoffs do NOT have away goals.
The rule was abolished in 1999 after third-placed Ipswich were beaten by sixth-placed Bolton on away goals.
