But after Netflix streaming success, when can fans expect to dive into another new season of the hit series? Here’s what we know about Season 10 so far!

Will there be a 10th season of The Blacklist?

Yes! If you just finished binge watching The Black List Season 9 on Netflix, you’ll be pleased to know that NBC has renewed the series for Season 10 on February 22, 2022. The tenth season has been confirmed with a full order of 22 episodes.

James Spader will reprise his role as leading actor Raymond “Red” Reddington The Black List Season 10, which will be the second season without Megan Boone as Liz and creator Jon Bokenkamp as showrunner. John Eisendrath remains on board as showrunner.

When is The Blacklist coming back?

Although NBC has renewed The Black List For Season 10, the network opted to keep the long-time veteran series on the bench until midseason. That means season 10 didn’t premiere in the fall of September or October with other hit NBC series like the one A Chicago Franchise, La Brea, Law & Order, New Amsterdam, and more.

The series previously had a midseason premiere for its sixth season when it premiered on January 3, 2019. As of October 2022, NBC has yet to announce a midseason schedule. The Black List could return with Season 10 as early as January 2023, but stay tuned for the official premiere date.

When is The Blacklist Season 10 coming to Netflix? (predictions)

Unlike purchased shows with Netflix streaming deals like Grey’s anatomy and stranger, NBC’s The Black List has no release pattern that can be traced back to any science. However, we do know that new seasons arrive a few months after the televised finale and before the next season premieres.

The Black List Season 9 ended its NBC run on May 27, 2022 and was later added to Netflix in the US on October 6, 2022. That was about a five-month wait after the season finale. Depending on when season 10 premieres and ends later, the Netflix release date will be determined. For now, we can rest assured that the season will be released on Netflix around fall 2023.
