When is the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2022?

The 35th Annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards will air live on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The event will take place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

You can catch the show’s live broadcast on Nickelodeon, but if you don’t have cable you can stream the awards on platforms like Hulu + Live TV.

Who organizes the Kids’ Choice Awards?

Miranda Crosgrove

Miranda Crosgrove, 28, is a legendary Nickelodeon star.

She is best known for her iconic roles as Megan Parker on Drake & Josh and Carly Shay on iCarly.

“The Kids’ Choice Awards is such a unique show with lots of energy, superstars and of course lots of slime,” Cosgrove said in a press release.

“Nickelodeon has always been my family and co-hosting this iconic show with Gronk is going to be amazing!”

Since her Nickelodeon days she has appeared in the following TV series and films: Despicable Me, Crowded, 3022 and North Hollywood.

Rob Gronkowski

Robert “Gronk” Gronkowski, 32, is a former NFL player and New England Patriots legend.

He retired from the game in 2019 and now works as an analyst at Fox Sports.

The soccer player is now co-host of the Kids’ Choice Awards with Cosgrove.

Gronkowski told ET in an interview, “I would say [fans can expect] a fun, entertaining show and lots of slimming.”

Who will perform and present at the awards?

Appearances at the 2022 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards include Kid Cudi and Jack Harlow.

According to Variety, some of the evening’s presenters will include Samuel L. Jackson, Sofia Vergara, Peyton List and Charli D’Amelio.

First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden will also have a special appearance on the show.

How can you vote?

Unfortunately, voting for the Kids’ Choice Awards 2022 has ended.

Voting periods for all categories began on March 17, 2022 and ended on April 9.

Voters could have used the Nick Play app or the Nickelodeon website to enter their votes online.

This year, according to Nickelodeon, there were a total of 27 main categories and 31 international categories open for voting.

Some of the nominees are: Adele, Billie Eilish, Cardi B, Tom Holland, BTS and Olivia Rodrigo.

Categories include: Favorite Kids TV Series, Men’s and Women’s Favorite TV Stars, Favorite Movie, and Favorite Video Game.
