When does it start and what is the route?

IT’S A MONTH ON THE Ukraine War and Britons are encouraged to show their solidarity with Ukraine by joining a march.

London will hold a march and vigil tomorrow (Saturday, March 26, 2022) to stand up for the victims of the Ukraine war.

How much is London Stands with Ukraine march?

The booth with Ukraine March starts at 2pm in Park Lane, West London.

It comes after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on people around the world to show their support for Ukraine.

The highlight will be a 3pm vigil in Trafalgar Square, which is expected to last two hours.

What is the route?

The route takes protesters in from Park Lane, Hyde Park Westminster.

Protesters walk through Piccadilly Circus where an art exhibition by Yoko Ono is on display.

A vigil will then be held in Trafalgar Square, which is approximately 1.4 miles from the starting point.

Are there road closures?

Due to the march, Park Lane and all other roads on the route will be closed during the protest.

They should reopen shortly after when crowds are in Trafalgar Square.

There should only be traffic delays on the route for a few hours.

Who’s in?

london mayor, Sadiq Khan will be present together with the Ukrainian Ambassador and the Union of Ukrainians in Great Britain.

Yoko Ono’s artwork “Imagine Peace; commissioned by Circa and Serpentine are exhibited on Piccadilly lights.

Thousands of Londoners and visitors to the capital are expected to join the march.
