PAT Sajak didn’t have it that way when two Wheel of Fortune contestants solved the bonus puzzle too early.
The host furiously shadowed the happy couple during their Valentine’s Day week special for guessing before “even starting the clock!”
Wheel of Fortune turned things upside down just in time for Valentine’s Day, if fans haven’t noticed.
Twice as many contestants took to the game show stage for their “Sweetheart’s Special” throughout the week, with contestants competing in pairs.
Married for 31 years, Toni and her husband Roger met on a blind date — “yes, they work,” she shared during her Q&A on Tuesday.
The Silver Foxes went into the bonus round after a solid performance.
The category Toni and Roger chose was “What are you wearing?” and Toni chose an H, B, G, O and M as her added letters for the special round.
“You didn’t wait”
“You’re grinning!” Host Pat, 76, joked before being cut off by the read-to-go couple.
“Long flowing robe!” Toni announced before Pat started the 10 second timer.
“Yes, it is,” he decided as the pair celebrated their win.

Pat got angry and yelled, “Even though you didn’t wait for me to start the clock!” leaning into the last half of the sentence.
“I’ll give you what you want,” he added.
Standing behind them, he finally opened their prize card to reveal they had won a Mercedes Benz and a total of $64.9k.
One YouTube fan laughingly captioned a clip: “Damn mom didn’t even wait for the clock to start on the last bonus puzzle!”
“She didn’t have to wait for the clock,” wrote another.
In the credits scene, Pat said he liked Vanna White’s chic heart-trimmed top.
She asked where his “heart” was, and he joked about his former Playboy model wife: “When you’re married to a woman like Lesly, every day is Valentine’s Day.
It’s going to be a big night at Sajak House.”
