Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak yells at the contestant: “Solve the damn riddle” after taking too long in the new episode

A WHEEL of Fortune contestant spun too many times for Pat Sajak’s liking on Wednesday.
The 76-year-old shouted: “Please solve the damn puzzle!” at Nicole, one episode after trying to wrestle a contestant to the ground.

The Peachtree, Georgia-based contestant, who started both acting and working at a healthcare company, just kept spinning.
The Wheel of Fortune puzzle in question belonged to the Same Name category.
Nicole guessed quite a few letters in a row – including all the available vowels.
“Looks pretty good to me,” Pat said, sounding like he wanted her to loosen rather than spin.

Then she turned again and guessed a P and moved on, next she guessed a Y with the three word puzzle only two letters away from being finished.
Nicole nearly went bankrupt, but just missed it – and Pat decided, “Yeah there is a Y…” with hesitation.
At this point it read “COCONUT & COU__ SYRUP”.
She said, “Ok, um, I’ll solve it.”

“Everybody in America knows it”
Pat yelled off-screen, “Please solve the damn puzzle!”
The audience laughed nervously, then fell silent when he seemed serious.
As “Coconut & Cough Syrup,” she got that right and then held her chest while looking happy at having won a trip to Hawaii – but also looking overwhelmed.
Pat then scoffed after being found correct, jumping to $11.6k and the camera switching to all three players: “It’s a horrifying moment when everyone in America knows what that is but ‘why don’t I know ?’ But you got it.”
Pat then added that he thought she knew but he messed with him, although the two “names” didn’t seem perfectly related to the naked eye.
He snarled, “We appreciate you pretending you didn’t know to the end that you upped the drama and that was great.”
She ended up with $28,000 but didn’t win – it was Cory, an escape room expert, who unlocked the most revenue and correctly solved the bonus puzzle.
RADMANIA
In the last episode, drama teacher Fred, who dressed the part for the Hawaiian Wheel of Fortune episode, was wrestled by Pat in a headline moment.
He put his skills to the test by impressively solving every single puzzle and getting a rarely perfect game.
Fred ended up with the highest score in a blowout, and funnily enough when he had dismissed the other contestants, Pat sounded like he was actually looking for a smackdown.
“Just because he’s a professional wrestler… do you want me to beat him for you?” the game show host asked the other players.
The players answered “yes” to Pat’s question.
Fred received the four word prize puzzle as “His mind wanders”.
“There you go!” Pat announced and gave him another $40,000.
“A clean sweep, $75,000!” the host declared as the contestant — in between showing his muscles — emotionally hugged his father.
Then, as Fred was celebrating and literally tensing up, Pat rushed over and wrapped his arm around the contestant’s back to subdue him.
Pat then put the player in a choke-hold of sorts while his father stood by and the audience gasped.
“Not just another perfect match, but another showdown between Pat and another contestant!” commented one person on Twitter.
Another fan asked, “What happened to Pat at the end?”

“Don’t fall Pat,” read one comment.
Others seemed spooked by the game show host’s wrestling moves. “I would never wrestle a contestant like Sajak did if I were the host of Wheel of Fortune. I literally do handshakes,” one viewer wrote.
