Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak dissed players with a brutal jab after being overwhelmed by a rowdy group of contestants

PAT Sajak was visibly overwhelmed by the participants in Thursday’s Wheel of Fortune, who turned out to be a variety of characters.

During the interview segment that went awry, he turned away to ask if they were the “actual players.”

The Wheel of Fortune contestants were Aja, a baker from Phoenix, Arizona, Heather, a mom from California, and Ben, also from California.

Aja guessed the first Tossup puzzle as “Extreme Sports” even though it was “Extreme Sports”.

Realizing she missed the “S” and before the next player called, she added an “S” to correct herself.

Pat, 76, just lost it and burst out laughing: “I love this, let’s get to that when we talk to you.”

Pat did talk to her, but first he fought it out with Ben.

“WANT TO PLAY THE GAME?”

The curly-haired contestant in the middle then stole the show when he asked Pat, “What shakes bacon?”

“I knew you would cause trouble,” Pat replied helplessly.

He then told Pat that he is newly married and loves to travel the world and watch professional wrestling when the “occasion calls for it”.

Pat wiped his brow and addressed the producers from the off, “Can we have the real players?” he hilariously dissed.

Pat finally turned to Aja and told her, “I loved the solution. You left out the ‘S’ the first time and just threw it in.”

Aja said that sometimes when she gets such specific orders as a baker, she just doesn’t fulfill them.

Pat concluded, “Do you want to play the game or everyone just go for a beer?”

In the end, Ben went into the bonus round and couldn’t “go for a quick jog”.

He told Pat he didn’t think jogging fit into the “fun and games” category, implying that he didn’t find jogging fun.

Pat then said, “That wasn’t bad!”

“I NEED A LAUGH!”

One fan wrote below a YouTube clip after attendees put Pat through the bell:

“Aye with that first add on to the first toss up. I needed a good belly laugh!!!!!!”

“And Ben is a hoot!” wrote another.

Last month, the casting department once again proved a winner, at least as far as memorable contestants go, when player Kate entered but didn’t win the bonus round.

Afterward, she hinted to Pat that she thought the puzzle was “Leaky,” resulting in him dropping the prize card on the floor.

Another contestant got the bonus puzzle last month and twerked on poor Pat.
