RIO FERDINAND mocked Arsenal icon Martin Keown after the Gunners lost 1-0 to Everton.

It was Arsenal’s first league defeat since September and Manchester United fan Ferdinand was delighted with the result.

After the game, he celebrated Everton’s win by laughing in Keown’s face and asking the former defender what went wrong at the Gunners.

He shared a video of Arsenal and Keown being trolled seconds after the final whistle at Goodison Park.

He said: “Woah Arsenal, what happened?

“Woah, Martin, what happened to your team? Martin, what happened to your team?! Martin, what happened to your team?

“Wow! Goodison Park, this place has swallowed many men before. Will he swallow the Arsenal team today? Whoa!”

Keown tried to come up with an answer but was drowned out by Ferdinand and the celebrations of fellow pundit and Evertonian Rachel Brown-Finnis.

Despite his taunts, Ferdinand still believes Mikel Arteta’s side will win the Premier League.

Manchester City could close the gap at the top of the table to just two points if they beat Tottenham today.

But Ferdinand believes the defeat by Everton will only be a stumbling block on Arsenal’s path to the title.

He told BT Sport: “Arsenal, we sat here and everyone believed they could win this league and I put them as favorites and I still put them as favorites and pressed them slightly.

“It’s a real psychological test for them now, how do they deal with that bump?

“It’s a big learning curve for them.”
