What your favorite pizza toppings say about your favorite taste, and bad news if you like pineapple on your pizza

IF YOU love blondes, chances are pepperoni is your favorite pizza topping – while redhead fans tend to prefer meaty toppings, according to a study.

A poll of 2,000 adults identified a correlation between whether they go out for pizza and what they find attractive in a potential partner.

And it’s emerged that people who want to pick someone with blonde hair – such as Margot Robbie or Ryan Reynolds – also tend to be fans of pepperoni pizza.

Meat party fans love redheads like Ed Sheeran and Emma Stone.

While dark-haired admirers, such as Idris Elba, would be the perfect date for those with a taste for tuna pizza.

Commissioned by Domino’s, which is offering a special Valentine’s Day-only deal, research shows 55% will opt for pizza on at least one of their first three days.

And one in five plans to indulge in a few slices this Valentine’s Day.

Dom Juan, ‘Pizza-in-Chief’ at Domino’s, says: “Our research demonstrates that there is a strong link between modeling and dating.

“But anyone looking for true love knows how difficult those first dates can be, so we’ve done the hard work for you.

“All you need now is to ask them a delicious, complicated question… what’s your favorite pizza?

“Honestly, pizza was and always will be a first bite favorite.”

Research shows that six in ten people believe that the way to someone’s heart is through their stomach, with 55% saying a shared love of food is what they look for in a partner.

And one out of every ten people find that special pizza fanatic is important to them, having mentioned the Italian classic on their online dating profiles.

While this form of food might seem like a safe choice one day, some of those polled were particularly interested in potential partners’ pizza preferences.

Of those polled, 15% said they wouldn’t date someone who eats pizza with a knife and fork.

More than one in six people wouldn’t date someone who removed the crust, and 17% would have someone who likes pineapple put it on their pizza.

While 21% and 23% felt similar about those who ate tuna and anchovies as toppings.

Conducted through OnePoll, the study found that those polled were also particularly interested in sharing a pizza or eating one for themselves, but there was no general consensus.

Almost four in ten would be a good share but 35% wouldn’t care.

But the vast majority (78%) would be willing to trade a slice of their pizza for a slice of their day.
