What should The Daily Grind: Crowfall do at this point?

So things don’t seem to be going well for Crowd. I don’t like typing that, but what else can be said? The latest rumor is the studio is considering shutting down the game just to save the money it has, and although that rumor has been more or less disproved by at least one official source, it also seems plausible in this respect. That’s not what anyone would legitimately consider “good news.” It’s cunning and it feels nervous.
So, let’s turn the question to you, dear reader. What do you think Crowd (and in a broader sense, Artcraft as a company) should do at this point? Looking for a real free-to-play transition? Stay process? Self-made on Steam? Abandoned Crowd Totally a failed project? Trying to rotate the focus of the game in some way? Going all into the second game? Looks like what’s worked so far hasn’t worked, but what should the studio do, if anything, instead?
