How the crow flies is a new Turkish TV series streaming on Netflix today, June 3rd. Fans of scandalous TV series like Anatomy of a Scandal and a Turkish hit love 101 would be smart to add this series to their watchlists.

Created by Meric Acemi who also contributed love 101, How the crow flies is a mature drama series about the generation gap between a Gen Z fan and her Gen X anchor idol. As the young woman maneuvers herself into a successful newsroom, she is drawn to the dark side of ambition and all that entails.

The entire first season, consisting of eight episodes, is now streaming on Netflix.

What is “How the Crow Flies” about?

As mentioned, the series has a newsroom focus and shares similar vibes to shows like The morning show. Lale Kiran is a savvy news anchor who struggles to keep up with the ever-changing world, including things like social media and evolving the way business is done.

The story follows intern Asli Tuna, a Gen Zer determined to climb the ladder and reach the top of her new job. But will Asli succumb to the dark side of her ambition with things like envy and scandal?
