What did Post Malone say about this album?

Hailing from Syracuse, New York, Post Malone quickly rose to fame in the mid-2010s following the release of White Iverson.

As his career continued to grow, he moved to Texas and Los Angeles, but eventually moved to Utah, a decision his father told Rich Post, according to Billboard, “was “a huge sigh of relief for the parent figures.”

The move was an attempt to stay out of the limelight and has since been described as “what’s best for him” by his longtime co-manager Dre London.

“People wanted me to stay in LA — that’s where the work gets done — but I was fed up,” Post told Billboard in January 2022.

“There’s always something to do and someone always wants something from you — and I didn’t mean to go crazy.”

The move was also to help his creativity, which eventually led to him rediscovering his love for music while producing Twelve Carat Toothache.

“There was a switch that flipped and it felt like I was doing Stoney,” he said of his latest album.

“I lost that and the hardest thing is getting it back. It ebbs and flows. It’s to find out, “Just because I’m not inspired to do it right now doesn’t mean I’m going to give up.” ”

Just weeks before the release of Twelve Carat Toothache, Post also announced that he’s expecting his first child with his longtime girlfriend.

“I’m excited for this next chapter in my life, I’m happier than I’ve ever been and I’ve been sad for as long as I can remember,” the rapper told TMZ at the time.

“Time to take care of my body and my family and friends and spread as much love as possible every day.”

It is currently unclear when Post’s baby will be born.
