This ongoing strike has caused a delay in both the creation and release of the show.
As the WGA strike began, five notable late-night talk show hosts met via Zoom to discuss the challenges each faced.
This prompted the presenters to adapt their private conversations into a limited podcast series called Strike Force Five.

What is the series about?
At Strike Force Five, the five hosts meet weekly to discuss the issues and tangles of the WGA strikes.
“The presenters bring their unique insights, opinions and humor to the show as they navigate the Hollywood strikes and beyond,” he said website read.
In the podcast, each presenter rotates weekly as presenter.
In addition, all earnings from the show go to the unemployed staff of the hosts’ individual shows.

The Strike Force Five is hosted by Spotify’s Megaphone and is set to premiere on August 30, 2023.
The show will run for at least 12 episodes.
While the podcast will air on Spotify, it will also be available on multiple streaming platforms, including the Apple Podcast app.
