‘What is Salah giving you?’ – Eric Dier hilariously jokes with Tim Krul after rescuing Son Heung-min in the Golden Boot race

TOTTENHAM defender Eric Dier made a hilarious comment during Spurs’ final game of the season that took aim at Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul.
Dier, 28, said to Krul after a good deflection from a shot by Son Heung-min: “What does Salah give you?”

This was in reference to Son, who competed with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah for the Premier League Golden Boot, awarded to the league’s top scorer, on the final day of the season.
Krul, 34, made an excellent save to deny Son at close range after Dejan Kulusevski and Harry Kane gave Spurs control of the game.
The tongue-in-cheek remark was made before the South Korean star eventually scored twice in the second half of Spurs’ 5-0 win over the Canaries.
The goals took Son’s tally for the league season to 23, but Salah also scored on the final day as his side beat Wolves 3-1.
As a result, the golden boot is shared between Son and Salah.
But, remarkably, none of the No 7 Spurs’ goals were penalties, while five by Salah were.
Son, 29, helped propel Tottenham into 4th place in the league and qualify for next season’s Champions League.
His clinical lead and partnership with Kane helped the club to their highest league result since 2018/19.

They also recorded their highest total points since Mauricio Pochettino guided them to 3rd place in 2017/18.
And the club are expected to spend big bucks this summer with the likes of Pau Torres and Gabriel Jesus linked with moves to Antonio Conte’s side.
It was announced yesterday that the Italian could inject the money after a £150m capital injection from the owners.
