A new K-Drama entitled Cafe Minamdang Premiered on Netflix June 27th, and you need to know everything you need to know about it before it comes out!

Cafe Minamdang is a South Korean original series created by Park Hye-jin, Ko Jae-hyun and Yun Ra-young. It is a television adaptation of the web novel entitled Minamdang: case note by the writer Jung Jae-ha. The cast includes former K-pop star Seo In-guk, Oh Yeon-seo, Kwak Si-yang, Kang Mi-na, Kwon Soo-hyun, and many others.

Like most Korean series releases on Netflix, new episodes of Cafe Minamdang will be deleted weekly. Expect new episodes to arrive on your Netflix account every Monday and Tuesday until the finale.

Cafe Minamdang summary

The story follows Nam Han-Joon, a former criminal profiler who now works as a con artist in a fortune teller called Minamdang. Due to his charm and attractive features, Nam Han-Joon is able to easily cheat his customers out of money. But Nam Han-Joon doesn’t work alone. He has his younger sister, who is an elite hacker, and a private investigator by his side. Meanwhile, Detective Han Jae-Hee works to take down Nam Han-Joon and his fraudulent business.

In the first season there will be a total of 18 episodes, each about 60 minutes long. So there will be a lot to see and enjoy.

The show has been rated TV-MA which means it may not be suitable for those under the age of 17. The reason for this rating is due to the strong language used by the characters and the blood and gore. We recommend viewing Cafe Minamdang when there are no children.
